About Me

Kyle Alexander is a graduate of Howard University, earning a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Sports Administration. Kyle is a dedicated journalist who works to tell the stories that need to be heard.

Kyle began his journalism career in high school, where he wrote for the school paper and found his passion for the career. At Howard, Kyle quickly worked to cover the field of sports, working as an editor for Ballin with Bison, a show run by Howard's broadcasting group, HU Spotlight. He then went on to write stories as a sports reporter for the school paper, The Hilltop. As he gained more experience in sports reporting, Kyle also sharpened his skills in class, producing news packages and stories that cover a wide range of topics from sports to politics and local news.

As Kyle matriculated through Howard, he gained more experience as a writer for Ravens Country at Athlon Sports. There, he wrote stories on the Baltimore Ravens, where he sharpened his writing. This experience helped him land an internship with Capitol Hoops Summer League, where he reported on local high school basketball talent in the DMV. Kyle wrote feature pieces, game stories, and playoff recaps for the summer league, keeping fans updated on the local talent.

Currently, Kyle serves as a sideline reporter and regional captain at Scholar Athletes Sports Network (@SASN.TV) in the DC area and also covers sports on his social media under his brand, KLA Sports. Kyle plans to pursue a career in sports journalism after completing his undergraduate degree, whether it be in print or broadcast. Kyle has crafted himself into being a versatile journalist who can cover numerous topics and be a strong writer and reporter on camera to tell the stories of those who are unheard.
