Howard University has found a new running back as three-star recruit Eden James commits to the university. James is the son of NFL Hall of Fame running back Edgerrin James and played high school football at Treasure Coast High School in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. In two seasons on the varsity level, James recorded 298 carries for 2772 yards rushing and 37 touchdowns, averaging 9.3 yards per carry and 145.9 yards per game. In this interview, James discusses pressure from the family name, recruitment during the COVID pandemic, and choosing Howard over schools like Miami, Indiana, and Wake Forest.
